A local non-profit organization, NEK-CAP, Inc., is hosting a focus group in Atchison County to identify community needs and available resources for individuals living with limited incomes. The session is part of the agency’s community needs assessment and aims to discuss needs, barriers, and successes for Atchison County families. The focus group, scheduled for April 28th, will be a hybrid meeting with both in-person and Zoom options available at Paolucci Restaurant. NEK-CAP encourages local stakeholders, service providers, and community members with lived experience to participate and share their insights on how the county can help people thrive through future programs and partnerships. Residents can also submit topic suggestions online.
