Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe is hosting a security planning roundtable in Jefferson City to discuss the upcoming World Cup matches in Kansas City. The roundtable will address comprehensive security measures for the six World Cup matches to be held at Arrowhead Stadium starting on June 16. Participating agencies include the FBI, Missouri National Guard, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Kansas City Police Department, along with KC2026, the organization planning the event. Discussions will focus on security protocols, crowd control, logistics, and planning for the FIFA Fan Festival in Kansas City. A news conference will be livestreamed following the roundtable discussion.
