Intersection improvement work at U.S. Route 36 and Bob Griffin Road in DeKalb County will begin on May 26th. The project, a collaboration between MoDOT and the City of Cameron, will include new traffic signals, lighting, and widened intersections to enhance safety and traffic flow. The construction will be completed in three stages, with the first stage involving shoulder work and a temporary J-Turn east of the intersection. During this phase, South Route 36 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with a 10-foot width restriction on Bob Griffin Road.
