A massive recall has been issued for Bissell steamers due to a serious burn hazard. The attachments on the steam cleaners can unexpectedly detach and expel hot water or steam, resulting in injuries. Bissell has received reports of 206 incidents, including 161 burn injuries. Consumers are advised to stop using the steamers immediately and contact Bissell for free replacement attachments. The recalled steamers were sold nationwide from October 2024 to March 2026 through various retailers.
