The Buchanan County Commission has announced that a bridge replacement project at the intersection of southeast Mason Road and southeast Ajax Road is coming next week. 

Construction on the bridge is set to begin on Monday, February 2 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of April 2026, weather permitting. During that time, there will be no access across the bridge at this location.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time. The County will provide updates should the project schedule change.
