Richardson County residents can bring tires to the Richardson County Road Department Shop in Falls City on specific days and times for disposal. The collection event is only for residents, and no retailers are allowed to participate. Rims, tubes, and trailers full of tires will not be accepted. Residents must provide proof of residency, know the number and origin of their tires, and be prepared to unload them. The scrap tire collection is funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy. Contact the Richardson County Road Department for more information.
