The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium has welcomed three new North American river otter pups named Skie, Sprout, and Storm. Born on March 3rd to mom Ursula, the otters are currently growing behind the scenes at the zoo. The names pay tribute to their father, Skokie, who passed away in 2025. The otters are currently acclimating to the water and will soon be viewable to the public as they continue to develop and explore their new surroundings.
