The St. Joseph Mustangs will host a throwback night this summer to honor the Saint Joseph Drummers, a minor league team from the early 20th century. The event will take place on Saturday, June 27th, with the Mustangs transforming into the Drummers for the night. The Drummers were a successful team in the Western League from 1910-1917, with Hall of Fame pitcher Dazzy Vance among their players. The team’s name was inspired by salesmen who could “drum” up business in the community. For more details on Saint Joseph Drummers night, visit stjoemustangs.com.
