NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Sunday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Malibu driven by a 20-year-old St. Joseph woman was northbound on Route H five miles southwest of Maryville.  The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at Route V. the car crossed Route V and struck an embankment.

Nodaway County EMS transported the driver to Mosaic in Maryville. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.  The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
