Crews with E.L. Crawford Construction tore down light poles in the former Reed Chevrolet sales lot Friday, a preliminary step in the demolition of the building.

Sources at both the City of Saint Joseph as well as E.L. Crawford say that right now, there aren’t solid construction plans in place.

The land involved is owned by multiple investors.
