Maur Hill-Mount Academy in Atchison has announced the appointment of John Dahlstrand, PhD, as its new president, effective April 27th. Dahlstrand, who previously served at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence, brings over 20 years of experience in education, including roles at the University of Kansas, Washburn University, and Loyola University of Chicago. He holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago and was chosen after a nationwide search to uphold the school’s mission in the Benedictine tradition.
