Students from 11 metro schools in Kansas City have showcased their creativity and carpentry skills in the annual Parade of Playhouses at Union Station’s Science City. The event features 12 student-built children’s playhouses with unique themes and designs, making it the largest Parade of Playhouses ever hosted. The playhouses will be auctioned to support Science City’s STEM program. In addition, the KC Manufacturing and Design Expo (KC MADE) will showcase projects created by local high school students, highlighting their technical skills and imagination. The event provides students with valuable feedback from industry professionals and opportunities to connect with leaders in the field.
