An undercover operation by the St. Joseph Police Department and the Street Crimes Unit led to the arrest of two suspects, Zachary Winger and Duane Parrott, for enticement of a minor. Parrott, a former teacher with the St. Joseph School District, is being held without bond. Another suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The operation was conducted under Evie and Sophie’s Law, which aims to prevent harm to children by targeting adults who attempt to entice minors. The SJPD will continue proactive investigations to remove such individuals from the community.
