A motorcycle accident in Nodaway County resulted in one person being hospitalized. The accident occurred on eastbound U.S. Highway 136 near the Burlington Junction city limits. The motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, skidded, and overturned before striking a utility pole. A female passenger was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, while the male driver refused treatment for minor injuries. The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
