
NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Tuesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Honda 1100 Shadow driven by a 40-year-old Burlington Junction man was eastbound on U.S. 136 at MO 113 at the city limits of Burlington Junction. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle crossed the center line, began to skid, traveled off the north side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Nodaway County EMS transported a 41-year-old female passenger to Mosaic in Maryville. The driver refused treatment at the scene. They were not wearing helmets, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
