The Riverside USD 114 Board of Education has conducted interviews with two of the three finalists for the district’s next superintendent position. Rhonda Frakes, with nearly 30 years of education experience, and Robert Reed, with 27 years of experience, were interviewed on separate evenings. The third candidate will be interviewed soon, with the new superintendent set to replace Jennifer Gatz, who is stepping down after three years in the role. Each finalist spends time in the district on the day of their interview, meeting with staff and touring school buildings.
