The Andrew County Aquatics Initiative (ACAI) has successfully exceeded its fundraising goal to save the Savannah Aquatics Center, which was at the end of its lifespan. The group raised $911,694, surpassing their $900,000 target, to provide necessary renovations for the pool. The center is set to open for the 2026 pool season on May 23rd, with reservations and purchases already being accepted. The ACAI’s efforts have ensured the preservation and continuation of the beloved Savannah Aquatics Center for the community to enjoy.
