The Housing Authority of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska will break ground on the Campbell Housing Complex, a new housing development to address the critical housing shortage on the reservation. The project, funded by nearly five million dollars in grants, will include 18 housing units, with a mix of market rate and affordable options. The development aims to provide modern, state-of-the-art homes to meet the growing demand for affordable housing among tribal members. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Housing Authority to expand housing access, with a total of 8.5 million dollars in grant funding secured since June 2024.
