Buchanan County will celebrate the beginning of construction for the expansion of the Judge Frank D. Connett, Jr. Juvenile Justice Center with a ground breaking ceremony on Friday. The event, co-hosted by Goldberg Group Architects and Lehr Construction, will take place at the Juvenile Justice Center and aims to enhance facilities and services provided by the county’s juvenile justice system. The expansion will increase the number of beds at the center from six to 24. The groundbreaking ceremony is open to the public and will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.
