Fire crews responded to a structure fire near Lakefront Lane in St. Joseph, Missouri, around 5:00 p.m. Monday.

The home was destroyed by the flames, but firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before 6:00 p.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. The landlord stated that neighbors reported the fire starting on the porch, and the tenant was not at home during the incident.
