Fans attending the Kansas City Royals’ home opener at Kauffman Stadium on Monday will be treated to a flyover by A-10 Thunderbolt II planes from the 442nd Fighter Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base. The planes, known as “Warthogs,” will feature a “KC” emblem on their tails. This tradition started in 2025 and will continue this year as the Royals take on the Minnesota Twins on March 30. The flyover is scheduled to take place before the first pitch at 3:10 p.m.
