Herzog Contracting Corp. will resurface Atchison/Nodaway County U.S. Route 136 in Missouri in a project scheduled to start on March 10. The resurfacing will cover the stretch from Interstate 29 in Rock Port to U.S. Route 71 east of Burlington Junction. Motorists can expect one-lane closures with flaggers and a pilot car guiding traffic through the work zone until July. Temporary traffic signals will be installed at the bridge over Interstate 29, and speed limits will be reduced to 35 miles per hour with a width restriction of 10 feet in place.
