Several incumbent officeholders in Buchanan County have filed for reelection in the upcoming Aug. 4 primary election. The filing period for Buchanan County offices opened on Feb. 24 and will close on March 31. Candidates such as Rebecca Spencer, Mary Baack-Garvey, Peggy Campbell, Ashley Thrasher, Chad Gaddie, Tara Horn, Michelle Davidson, and Becky Dunlap are among those seeking reelection. Interested individuals must submit paperwork to the Buchanan County Clerk’s Office to run for county office.
