The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Chevy Impala driven by a 16-year-old Coffey, Missouri girl was southbound on Interstate 35 one mile south of Bethany.
The car was approaching a 2000 Kenworth semi and changed lanes to avoid rear-ending the vehicle. The teen driver changed lanes to avoid a crash. At the same time the semi driver overcorrected and Impala struck the drivers side of the semi.
