GRUNDY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Thursday in Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a horse drawn buggy driven by a 38-year-old Trenton woman was entering Route F from a private drive near SW 50th Avenue six miles east of Jamesport.

An eastbound 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by a 59-year-old Trenton man rear-ended the buggy. After impact the pickup traveled down an embankment and came to rest on its wheels. The buggy came to rest in the roadway.

Grundy County EMS transported the buggy driver to Mosaic in St. Joseph. The pickup driver was properly restrained and not injured, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
